The gameplay is meant to be faster and more frenetic than the traditional Blackout map. The alternate play space is a small island designed to accommodate 10 four-person squads.
This particular free access period exists to promote the new Alcatraz map. Select from your friends list to create a party, and they'll join the lobby with you. To squad up with friends, simply enter a Duos or Quads Queue and bring up the social menu with triangle or Y. That being said, it will likely conclude around 1 p.m. An exact end time for the Blackout free trial has not been announced. Zombies and multiplayer are not part of this free trial. The demo will download to your PC, allowing you to enjoy the Blackout portion of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Click the result and press the button to install. If not, search for "Blackout" in the search box. Once logged in, you should be able to see Blackout Free Access on the front page of the "Games" section. Create an account if one has not already been made. If you don't have it already, download the client from its official website.
